Who we are

BattleRise is developed and operated by Triumph Games Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). References to “the Service” in these Terms mean the BattleRise game, this website, and any related features we make available, including code redemption.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your activity — including any purchases.

Some regions set a higher minimum age for the processing of personal data. Where that is the case, the higher age applies to you.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure, including your Player ID and any credentials tied to the app store you installed through. Activity that takes place through your account is treated as yours.

Your account is a licence to use the Service, not property you own. You may not sell, rent, or transfer it, and you may not buy or accept an account from anyone else.

Tell us as soon as you can if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.

Promo codes and in-game rewards

This website lets you redeem a promo code against your in-game Player ID. Rewards from a successful redemption are delivered to your in-game mailbox; you may need to open the game once for them to appear on your account.

• Promo codes are issued by us and remain our property. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• A code may be single-use, limited to a set number of redemptions overall, restricted to particular players or regions, or subject to an expiry date.
• A code can only be redeemed once per player. Attempting the same code again will tell you it has already been applied.
• We may cancel or refuse a code that was obtained from an unauthorised source, published without our permission, generated automatically, or used in a way these Terms do not allow.
• Rewards, virtual items and in-game currency are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the game. They are not your property, have no value outside the game, and may be changed, rebalanced or withdrawn as the game develops.

We do our best to keep redemption working, but we cannot guarantee that the service is available without interruption, and we are not able to reinstate a reward that was granted correctly and then spent.

Purchases

Purchases in the game are processed by the app store you installed through — Apple or Google — and are subject to that store's terms and refund policy as well as these Terms. We do not process those payments ourselves and generally cannot issue a refund directly; refund requests go to the store.

Prices and the contents of in-game offers may change. Anything you buy is a licence to use it in the game, on the same basis as other virtual items described above.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, please do not:

• Use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, or any tool that gives an advantage the game does not intend.
• Attempt to guess, enumerate, harvest or brute-force Player IDs or promo codes, or submit codes on a scale a person would not.
• Interfere with, overload, or probe the site or its systems, or try to bypass rate limits, the human check, or any other protection.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or keys from the game or the site, except where the law expressly permits it.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players or our staff.
• Sell, trade, or advertise accounts, codes, virtual items, or in-game currency.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or in breach of the rules of the app store you installed through.

Abuse of the redemption page in particular affects other players directly: promo codes are usually limited in total, so draining one denies it to people it was meant for. We treat it accordingly.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, reverse rewards, or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, or to protect other players, the game, or ourselves. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the game. Doing so does not entitle you to a refund of anything already purchased or a payment for anything held in the game.

Intellectual property

BattleRise, its name, logo, artwork, characters, music, text and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own entertainment, and nothing more.

You are welcome to create videos, streams, screenshots and other fan content featuring the game, including monetised content on the usual platforms, provided it is clearly your own work, is not presented as official, and does not breach the acceptable use rules above. We can ask you to take content down if it does.

The game changes

BattleRise is a live game. Features, balance, content, events and rewards change over time, and parts of it may be added, altered or removed. We may also stop operating the game entirely; if we do, we will give reasonable notice through the game or our official channels where we can.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or that any defect will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, and in those places this section applies only as far as it is permitted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data or virtual items, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or a nominal sum.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the game and the law change. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Where a change is significant we will make a reasonable effort to tell you through the game or our official channels. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, and where those rights conflict with these Terms, those rights prevail — including your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

Open a ticket in the #tickets channel and you will be speaking to our support team privately, rather than in a public channel — that is the right place for anything involving your account, a purchase, or a code that did not work.
